Description: Join several of the BrimBUG riders as we try the Melbourne Autumn Day Ride. (MAD Ride). This is undulating country and one must be fit. The route starts at Woodend and goes through Carlsruhe, Kyneton, Lauriston, Upper Coliban and returns to Woodend. This is a Day ride - not a race.

Description: Join us as we investigate the significance of the first flight by Harry Houdini exactly 100 years ago. We will ride along the Melton- Keilor Highway to Plumpton Road and then to the plaque commerating Houdini’s achievement.
Then it is on to the Houdini Festival of Flight run by Melton Shire council at the Diggers Rest Recreation Reserve in Plumpton Rd. Lots of entertainment and activities from 11 am till 4 pm. Stay as long as you please.

Description: Meet at Southern Cross Station (Spencer St in Melbourne) and we ride via the Capital City trail to the Gardiners Creek Trail to East Malvern. Then we follow the Anniversary Trail to the Main Yarra Trail and return to Southern Cross station via the Capital City Trail. There are many stations to “bail out” along this scenic route.

Description: Ride via the Western Ring Road Path to Westmeadows Coffee shop where we will meet the riders from HumeBUG at 1000 am and join them on a family ride to the DS Aitken Reserve in Craigieburn via Roxburgh Park and suburbs. We will spend some time at the Craigieburn Family Festival and then make our way back to the start.

9 riders checked out the new “underpass” in Buckley Street as we cruised over Lily St hill and on to coffee & beer at the rather expensive Maribyrnong Boathouse. A pleasant ride on a rather warm day.

We’ll cycle along the meandering Kororoit Creek path to Buckingham Reserve where we pause for a rest. Returning via the same creek path to More park. Join us on this entry level family ride as part of the fitness activities in the Brimbank leisure challenge. Any bike will do and there is plenty of free parking at the start.

Through Craigieburn to the craigieburn bypass path onto Cooper Street then to the ring road bike path. We’ll ride past Jacana Railway station to the starting spot at Kealba
