Report: With glorious sunshine and a gentle breeze x8 riders took a unanimous vote to do a longer ride (as the paths in Woodlands were not suitable). Down to Werribee we went via the Federation Trail and explored the trail extension and new bridge over the Werribee River. An excellent lunch stop in Werribee and an exhillerating tail wind home with a few magpies for good measure. Distance covered for most riders 80 klms - a good preparation for RTB and The Great Vic bike ride. Woodlands still awaits us!

Plenty of bird life and smells of spring time in Melbourne. A wonderful feast and hot drinks were taken at our favourite cafe in Clifton Hill - Oh! - of course we had that mandatory flat tyre which was quickly changed and re-inflated with one of those new gas cylinders.
