The day, also, supports the work of JDRF. JDRF are a medical research charity dedicated to finding a cure from Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes.

Description
Starting at the Caltex Service Station, cnr Western Ring Road and Sunshine Avenue, (mel 26 H2) at 10 o clock. A gentle ride along the Ring Road path, past Jacana Reserve, to Westmeadows for coffee and cake, returning along the same route. Plenty of safe parking at the start.

Description
Starting from the Caltex Service Station, cnr Sunshine Ave and Western Ring Road, Kealba (Melways 26 H2),we ride along the Western Ring Road bike path to the Federation Trail . Turning left we ride to Millers Road, along Millers Road to Kororoit Creek road and in to Williamstown for a rest stop. From there we ride along the Maribynong Creek path to Edgewater estate, up Gordon Street, along Mitchell Street and Suffolk Street to Mcintyre Road, along Barwon Ave, then return to the Service Station.

9 riders on a sunny, day. We took a pleasant detour through the Altona Foreshore Wetlands. This ride was part of the Brimbank Leisure Challenge. Congratulations to our youngest rider - Aged 11 years and his dad. Well Done.

Description
Starting at The Leaping Lizard Café in Brimbank Park (Melway 14 H8) Meet at the back of the café and head down Melbourne’s finest river trail to Canning Reserve, Avondale Heights. Here we’ll take a break (there is shelter, toilets and water) then turn around and cycle back to the park. The bush setting and wild fauna along the mighty river are incomparable.

Starting at More Park we ride along the Western ring road path to the Federation trail, along Fed Trail to Duncans road then into Werribee for coffee and a rest. Returning along Princes Hwy to Federation Trail then via the same route to More Park.

Starting at Information Centre in Federation Square we ride along the Yarra river on the Capital City Trail to Dights Falls , then onto the Main Yarra Trail through Yarra Bend Park ,along the side of the Eastern Freeway to Heidelberg then onto Westerfolds Park . There are some short sharp climbs along this ride. We’ll rest for coffee and return via the same route

Keilor to Edgewater Estate Loop
Starting at The Leaping Lizard Café in Brimbank Park, Keilor, (Melways 14 H8) we follow the Maribyrnong River Trail up and over Lilly St hill, through Pipemakers Park all the way to Edgewater Estate where we stop for refreshments. Returning along Mitchell St, Cranwell St and Suffolk Rd. We then make our way through Sunshine North back to the Leaping Lizard Cafe.

Starting at the Caltex service station on Sunshine Ave & Western Ringroad cnr, Melways 26H2, we ride along the Western Ringroad bike path to Melrose Drive. Turning left along Melrose Drive and continuing to Link Road where we turn left and continue to South Centre Road. Turning left we continue to Annandale Road where a right turn takes us past the Keilor market gardens and along to the Old Calder Hwy. Turning right we ride to Sunshine Ave and turning left along Sunshine Ave return to the starting point. This ride is mostly on road riding. Not suitable for Mountain bikes.
