Description:    We follow the Maribyrnong River to Edgewater Estate and have coffee along the way.  Then its “up and over the edgewater hill” and easy return via the suburbs.

Report:

9 riders checked out the new “underpass” in Buckley Street as we cruised over Lily St hill and on to coffee & beer at the rather expensive Maribyrnong Boathouse.  A pleasant ride on a rather warm day.

Description:  Starting point at More Park, Ardeer, cnr Ballarat Rd and Western Ring Rd,  Melways ref 25 K9.  We’ll cycle along the meandering Kororoit Creek path to Buckingham Reserve where we pause for a rest.  Returning via the same creek path to More park.  Join us on this entry level family ride as part of the fitness activities in the Brimbank leisure challenge.  Any bike will do and there is plenty of free parking at the start.

Description:   Meet at the Woodend Tourist Information Centre, Woodend, for this undulating country road ride to Daylesford via Tylden and Trentham.  We shall stop for breaks at Trentham and Lunch at Daylesford and then return via the same route.  

 A good training ride for the half Round The Bay!

GOOD TRAINING RIDE FOR AROUND THE BAY 100KMS RIDE . Starting from Caltex Service station (26 h2) in Kealba  w’ell ride the ring road bike path to the broadmeadows  bike path to Craigieburn. Through Craigieburn to the craigieburn bypass path onto Cooper Street  then to the ring road bike path.  We’ll ride past Jacana Railway station to the starting spot at Kealba

Then we,ll ride through the Truganina parklands to  point cook  road onto sneydes road to Werribee , rest stop at werribee for coffee and cake. We will be returning via Federation trail, or depends on how we are traveling by train

Starting at the Caltex Service Station, Sunshine Avenue & Western Ring Rd cnr, (Melways 26 H2), we travel along the Western Ring Road path through Jacana reserve to the best coffee shop in Westmeadows.  Returning via the same route.  Leisurely paced ride, suit beginners or coffee lovers.

Take the train to Southern Cross Station Or ride in, the ride will take about 1 hour from the Caltex service station Melways 26 H2

Starting at Southern Cross Station (mel 2E 5K) we will take a interesting look at early Melbourne history in the city, this is the second part of the ride held on Feb 8 2009.  Meet at the front of Southern Cross and John will take us on a interesting ride.  Finish at Birrurung Mar for Lunch
