Meet:    1000 am

Where:     Caltex Service station,  cnr WRR & Sunshine Ave, Kealba, Melways 26 H2

Distance:    45 klms  occasional on road  riding – mostly paved / gravel trails.

Cost:          Free,  BYO nibbles, food

Description:  Following a brief on road detour the route continues along the WRR till a deviation to West Meadows area & we pick up  the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail.  The trail takes riders into the southern end of Woodlands Park.  A gravel trail leads to the café.  Return via the same route.

Note:  There is only one train “bail out point” on this ride for the weary.

Date:     Sunday  2nd July 2017

Meet:      SUNBURY  Railway Station – on the bus side.  Plenty of free parking

NOTE:  Sunbury train arrives at 1027 am  if arriving by rail route.

Time:     1030  am

Distance:   Total  30 – 35 klms.

Cost:  free, need a maintained bike, nibbles, MYKI etc;

Description:  From the railway station it is x2 undulating LOOP Rides exploring the surrounds of this growing area.

Lunch break in between the ride loops.  Lunch in local parklands with a café nearby.  BYO or café – riders choice.

Report:    15 riders braved the icy winds & enjoyed the expanding surrounds of Sunbury.  Occasional hills, great views & good company.
