Description:     Cycling along the WRR path till we cross over Sydney Rd and continue to join the Merri Creek Trail near Mahoneys Rd.  Then its a pleasant meander along the creek past Coburg Lake towards Rushall & Clifton Hill.  Mandatory coffee stop included..  Many bailout points and options for cycling after lunch.

REPORT:  Brimbug was well represented at this event.  Feedback is that we should aim to  be present at future Expos.

Brimbank Council is hosting a novel bike ride.

Start point:   R T Pollard Gardens – Central Sunshine.  Cnr Corio St & Hampshire Rd – Near the train station

Final Destination:  Albion Flour Mills  90 mins cycling.  Refreshments at rides end.

Date: Wed 23rd March 2016,

Time: 6pm  approx

Distance approx.  10km

Starting in the evening and touring through Sunshine, stopping at sites along the way and finishing at the old Albion Flour Mills to view a series of short films projected on the Silo walls.

 

Report: Congratulations to Brimbank City Council for a very entertaining evening ride.

Approx 26 riders joined the ride through Sunshine to the Albion Silos, and at several interesting locations short Video clips where projected unto walls along the route.
