Description: We start the ride at Landy Fields Recreation Reserve (situated at the corner of Swanston Street and Barwon Terrace, South Geelong) as there is plenty of room to park cars. Explore the Bellarine peninsula – Barwon River area along this scenic route through park lands, wetlands with a little road riding. 20 klm loop from the start to return and option to cycle to Waurn Ponds for lunch and then return to Landy Fields. Total distance 37 klms.

Ride Report: An adventurous route to the start point. Many activities in and around the Barwon area as the weather invites outdoor sporting events. Brimbug regulars were joined by some new keen cyclists so a great day was had cycling along the Barwon river, past the wetlands and then in to Waurn Ponds for lunch. Total distance approx. 37 klms.
