Description: After meeting at More Park the route takes us via the WRR path to Fitzgeralds Rd where we link up with the Deer Park wellness trail and continue in to Caroline Springs and the West waters lakeside Bistro/cafe for refreshments. The return route is on the Kororoit Creek Trail and back to the More Park starting point. Plenty of free parking at the start.

Ride Report: x8 riders set off on a cloudy and cool day. A shower of rain, a flat tyre (or 2), easy trails and a great rest stop introduced x2 new cyclists to the hidden amenities and treasures found with a local ride.

Description: From the Caltex Servo we make our way along the WRR path to the Caterpillar Factory in Airport West. We then follow Melrose Drive and South Centre Road towards the Airport where a stop can be arranged to watch the planes take off/land. Onwards via Keilor Park Drive and the back streets of the Industrial estate to Harrick’s Cottage.
Gold Coin donation will provide entry to the cottage which has information and celebrations organised by the Keilor Historical Society as they help to celebrate the “150 years of Keilor”. Riders can leave at their leisure after taking in the history of early Keilor as preserved by the Historical society and of course some nibbles provided on the day. The cottage is open from 1200 till 4 pm.
