Report:         A well attended opening.  Many were  from the local area and also from areas far afield on foot and of course by bicycle.  Proceedings were underway smartly with recognition given to the many partners who helped with this undertaking and to the local indigenous custodians.   The new interpretive signage was unveiled by a direct descendant of the namesake of Buckingham Reserve.  The weather remained glorious as the ribbon was cut at the start of the new connecting route to The Federation Trail and we were off.  11 riders from BrimBUG and many, many more cyclists and walkers enjoyed this new 2.7 klm link.  A wonderful BBQ was provided for  those who attended on the day.
