Description:     Heading from the caltex servo we’ll make our way via Edgewater estate to Williamstown for a coffee. Rider preferences will determine our return journey and exploration of the coastline.

Report:      x9 Riders joined at various stages along the route via Edgewater Estate and through Altona on a summery ride to our coffee stop in Ferguson Street Williamstown. Still wanting to enjoy the weather and up for a longer ride we continued to the Punt where our group divided – with some going across the river and home via the city and others returning via Edgewater.

Distance: 76 klms gravel topped trail

Description After meeting at the railway car park it is a short distance to the new bridge over the highway and to the start of the rail trail proper. Train or drive to Lilydale. We will leave at 9 am as it is a long day to Warbarton and back. No steep hills but a definate gradient.

Report: Well what a summer! Bucketing with rain and not safe to travel on those gravel paths. x5 riders at Lilydale station took a decision to drive to coffee shop instead. Ride to be rescheduled.
