Ride Report: x5 riders travelled to the Newport Wetlands (off Mason street, Newport) via the WRR path and a small detour to check progress on the freeeway link Millers rd to the city. The link path is not completed. Newport wetlands is a beautiful area for walkers, joggers – SORRY NO BIKES AND POORLY SIGNPOSTED AS SUCH. We then headed via the Altona wetlands in to Williamstown for that cafe stop. Then a stiff head wind in to Footscray station and a train home. Ride distance from start point – 45 klms.
