Description This ride we’ll head along the Western Ring Road and on to the Deer Park Bypass – “Wellness Trail”. From there we’ll head in to a rather new coffee shop situated on Caroline Springs lake. Then its a return to the start point via Kororoit Creek trail.

Description: x5 riders took the challenge and found a “new route” safe and not too convoluted as there are yet more roadworks and path closures scheduled for the WRR path – this time from near St Albans Rd to Ballarat Rd. The “wellness trail” provided a stiff head wind and a brief shower but a hot drink at the new cafe on Caroline Spring Lake was just the tonic for the return trip following Kororoit Creek. A rather chilly but exhilerating ride – distance approx 40 klms.
