Ride report    9 riders gathered on a glorious day at Southern Cross and proceeded by train as planned to Heatherdale station where the ride proper started.  A lovely tail wind propelled us along the well marked route to   Greens Road  where we followed the easy but well worn gravel section in to Carrum.  A group decision and we continued in to Mordialloc via the Edithvale wetlands  (long Beach Trail) for a well earned rest and lunch stop after meeting the opposing “head wind”.          Of note is the newly installed  “ExeLOO”  toilet facilities in the wetland area of Oakwood Park  (the amphitheatre area before Yarraman station).   Distance ridden  approx 50 klms.  Train back to the city as no-one fancied the “head wind” which was building for our return.
