Meeting at Caltex service station ,the ride will be to North Altona for the opening new Kororiot creek path ,on the new 2.5 klm path along Kororiot Creek   .Then returning home via same route   Options to stop for coffee.

Report:           10 riders BrimBUG riders attended this very sucessful day.  The Mayor of Altona opened the “Lower Kororoit Creek Trail” which is a 2.5 klm addition to the walking trails and cycling network in the Hobsons Bay area.  There was the opening ceremony, tree planting, BBQ lunch and entertainment provided for the many attendees.   Check the photos in our photo gallery tab.

Many thanks to the “Friend of the Lower Kororoit Creek”  whose perseverance has seen this path become another link in the cycling adventures possible in the west.
